Omat Copper Named "High-Quality Development Benchmark Enterprise"

Spring ushers in a new journey as warm breezes grace Yao Township; businesses gather in Ruyuan to compose a glorious new chapter. On March 10, the Ruyuan Yao Autonomous County 2026 High-Quality Industrial Development and Investment Promotion Conference was successfully held at the scenic Lanshanyuan Lingnan Oriental Hot Spring Hotel. Under the theme "Pool the New Momentum of Industry, Picture Ruyuan's New Blueprint," the conference fully implemented the guiding principles of the 20th CPC National Congress and its plenary sessions, acted on the work deployments of the 8th Plenary Session of the 13th Provincial Party Committee, the 10th Plenary Session of the 13th Municipal Party Committee, and the 11th Plenary Session of the 13th County Party Committee, comprehensively showcased Ruyuan's new development strengths, seized new opportunities for high-quality county-level economic growth, and provided a fine platform for enterprises to enter, learn about, and invest in Ruyuan.

Guangdong Omat New Metal Materials Co., Ltd. (hereinafter "Omat Copper"), for its outstanding contributions to Ruyuan's economic and social development over the past year, was honored as a "High-Quality Development Benchmark Enterprise" of Ruyuan Yao Autonomous County. Mr. Wen Hongfu, Chairman of the company, was invited on stage to share his experience in investment and business development.

As the production base of Omat Advanced Materials for high-purity oxygen-free copper and refractory metals/alloys, Omat Copper is mainly engaged in R&D and production of high-purity oxygen-free copper materials. The company possesses one of the largest 5,500-tonne double-action copper extrusion presses in the domestic industry, together with various modern large-scale forging and machining equipment, and is capable of processing large-size copper and copper-nickel alloy tubes. The company also produces high-purity oxygen-free copper rods, high-purity high-conductivity copper busbars, high-purity microcrystalline phosphor-copper balls, forgings, machined parts, and other copper-related products.

Co-hosted by the CPC Ruyuan Yao Autonomous County Committee and the Ruyuan Yao Autonomous County People's Government, the conference brought together around 200 distinguished guests to join in the grand event. Participants included leaders of municipal departments such as the Municipal Industry and Information Technology Bureau, the Municipal Investment Promotion Bureau, the Municipal Commerce Bureau, the Municipal Agriculture, Rural Affairs Bureau, and the Municipal Culture, Radio, Tourism and Sports Bureau; members of the county's four leading leadership teams including Huang Yikun, Tang Zhenchao, Zhang Jun, and Lin Changwei; principal responsible persons of towns and relevant county units; heads of six financial institutions including the County Rural Commercial Bank, Bank of China, and China Construction Bank; as well as more than 140 enterprise representatives from inside and outside the county, spanning industrial enterprises above designated size, leading agricultural enterprises, A-grade scenic-area enterprises, homestay and catering businesses, and construction companies.
