On the afternoon of December 19, to strengthen ties between leaders and high-level talent, Shaoguan NPC Deputy Director Chen Xi visited Omat to research talent work, accompanied by science-and-technology bureau leaders. Chen Xi spoke cordially with Omat PhD Lu Kuankuan and listened to his report.

On December 6, 2023, Chairman Wen Hongfu attended the municipal government–Agricultural Bank of China Guangdong Branch "Hundred, Thousand, Ten Thousand" project meeting and signed a strategic cooperation agreement. Secretary Chen Shaorong and ABC Guangdong president Wang Dajun attended; Mayor Chen Zhiqing presided. President Wang pledged no less than 30 billion yuan in financing support over five years.

On December 2, Shaoguan CPPCC Chair Hu Haiyun visited the Omat Nonferrous Metals production-base construction site. He learned about the project’s progress and planning, expressed satisfaction, and instructed Ruyuan authorities to fully cooperate to speed up construction and early production.

The Shao–Hong Kong Youth Exchange Promotion Association visited Omat for exchange, accompanied by Shaoguan CPPCC and science-and-technology bureau leaders. The group toured the showroom and learned about Omat’s history, operations, and R&D, discussing its achievements in depth.

On November 30, 2023, Liu Xinghua, director of the China Center for Innovation and Development Strategy’s Economics Research Center and Tongji University distinguished professor, visited Omat for research, accompanied by Shaoguan publicity and high-tech zone leaders. He toured the showroom and learned about operations and R&D.

On November 25, 2023, Shaoguan Municipal Standing Committee member Zou Zhenyu led a team to Omat’s Ruyuan site and witnessed the first steel column hoisting. He encouraged faster progress and early production, stressing safety, and more cooperation with universities and institutes. Development-zone leaders joined the visit.

On the afternoon of November 21, 2023, former Guangdong Venture Capital Association honorary chair and former provincial NDRC director Li Chunhong visited Omat, accompanied by Shaoguan NDRC deputy director Xiao Rongzhong and High-Tech Zone S&T bureau chief Liu Feipeng. The group visited the showroom and materials research institute.

On November 10, County Party Secretary Chen Dachuan led a team to research key-project progress and safety-production implementation, inspecting sites, hearing plans, and asking about schedules to highlight priorities, plan measures, and clear bottlenecks. The team visited the Omat Nonferrous Metals project and the China Power earthwork site.

On the morning of November 3, 2023, Liu Xiaoyi, chair of the Guangdong NPC Education, Science, Culture and Health Committee, led a special research team to Omat; Shaoguan NPC deputy director Lin Lan and deputy secretary-general Li Yong accompanied. Chairman Wen Hongfu introduced Omat’s technological innovation.

On November 2, 2023, ABC Guangdong Discipline Inspection Secretary Yang Yuling visited Omat to promote the spirit of the Central Financial Work Conference. Chairman Wen Hongfu introduced the company’s history and achievements; Secretary Yang affirmed and supported Omat’s long focus on high-purity sputtering targets and its role in addressing national chokepoint problems.

On the afternoon of October 30, 2023, Shaoguan Government Deputy Secretary-General and Petition Bureau chief Chen Gang led over 20 party members from the petition bureau, discipline inspection commission, government office, science bureau, and reception hall to Omat for a themed Party-Day activity. Deputy Secretary-General Chen Gang heard Chairman Wen Hongfu’s report on operations.

On the morning of October 27, 2023, Shaoguan NPC Deputy Director and Federation of Trade Unions chair Deng Caihong visited Omat’s Ruyuan site for on-site research, accompanied by Ruyuan leaders. Chair Deng consoled construction staff and encouraged Omat to advance the project and start production soon to contribute more to high-quality development.
