On December 12, the CNR Finance Annual Dialogue 2025 (3rd Edition) was held in Beijing, where the CNR Finance 2025 Golden Summit Cases were released. Omat’s project on driving the PV new-energy industry through materials innovation — its OMHT high-efficiency targets boosting heterojunction solar-cell technology — was honored for steadily raising cell conversion efficiency.

On December 9, Ye Zhenqin led a research team to Shaoguan to study the implementation of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee and conduct business-environment research, visiting local enterprises including Omat to understand operations and gather input for high-quality development.

On the afternoon of December 5, Jiang Honglin led officials from the market regulator, industry bureau, and high-tech zone to Omat for a warm-enterprise visit, discussing operations and plans with Chairman Wen Hongfu and coordinating on difficulties. Jiang expressed high expectations for Omat’s growth.

At the 9th Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Vacuum Technology Forum and 2025 Guangdong Vacuum Society annual meeting in Chaozhou, Omat’s mass-produced High-Conductivity Copper Electrode and Its Large-Area HD Display Application project won the Grand Prize of the 2025 Guangdong Vacuum Science and Technology Progress Award.

On October 29, at the 3rd International Perovskite PV Industry Conference in Kunshan, Omat received the Perovskite Key-Materials Innovation Award for its recognized innovations in perovskite precursors, transport-layer materials, and encapsulation materials, notably its NiOx and ITO targets.

Omat’s new plant has shipped G10.5-generation ITO targets to a customer. The G10.5 line is the world’s most advanced LCD production line, making panels above 32 inches; its ITO targets (purity 4N5 plus) are key materials for transparent conductive films.

On October 20-21, during a provincial meeting on modern industrial systems in Shaoguan, Guangdong People’s Congress Chairman Huang Chuping led deputies to Omat’s Ruyuan base to hear the company’s views on the province’s 15th Five-Year industrial plan.

On October 20, Huang Chuping visited Omat Copper (Guangdong Omat Nonferrous Metals). That evening, its 5,500-ton double-action copper extrusion press was fired up and the automated line entered commissioning — one of the largest of its kind in China.

On the afternoon of October 15, Omat brought quality positions to the Shaoguan Communist Youth League’s youth employment service event at Shaoguan University, helping promote local employers and broaden youth employment channels.
